This approach was developed as part of a partnership with Performitiv and an organization in the Financial Services industry. The intent was to get ahead of some difficult budget conversations, which virtually all L&D groups have had or will have.
The goal was to use the organization's operating model, actual business data (where possible), and relevant assumptions to determine the chain-of-impact on the business as a result of reducing L&D resources. Then, turn that into a model with an associated tool that could be used to assist with analysis and scenario planning, as well as help communicate the results.
