This session is applicable to anyone who works in talent, not just analytics! The focus is on better understanding AI as it relates to Learning and Talent Analytics, leveraging the research shared in our recently published white paper called “The Age of AI in Talent Analytics.”  (Click here to view the white paper).

As a result of this session, you should have a foundational understanding of AI and how it fits into the world of talent and analytics. Specifically, we’ll focus on four key areas:

  • Data Collection. All data comes from somewhere, and this stage is where we get that data. It’s important to make sure that your systems, processes, and technology are all synced to ensure that AI can be optimized generally, whether it be for analytics, operations, production, or other areas of the business. Although automation is inherent in AI, we’ll also discuss ways that it can be leveraged for collecting data.
  • Data Processing & Aggregation. If data collection is about getting the data, this is about what happens with that data. Although much of this happens ‘under the hood’, there are some key concepts that are critical for folks to understand, as well as some key technologies that will greatly improve an organization’s ability to analyze their data.
  • Reporting & Actionable Insights. Once data is aggregated and processed, usually something happens – whether that’s a report, dashboard, alert, notification, recommendation, or something else. This section is all about that – what are some ways that AI can improve this to make it more automated, dynamic, and effective.
  • Optimization & Risk. Simply put, this is where the rubber meets the road. This is about what you do with the reporting and actionable insights, and how that’s used to drive improvement, make changes, or facilitate decision-making in some capacity. AI is like any other technology – if people don’t use it, it’s not effective. This is also where we want to think about the risks inherent with AI and some of the considerations.
